WalletHub, personal-finance site, has used game-centric criteria to rank major US cities on a scale of 1 to 100. It examined the 100 biggest American cities using statistics like most arcades per capita, number of video game stores, highest internet speed etc. and it got pretty interesting findings.
Surprisingly the No. 1 city for gamers did not turn out to be Silicon Valley but rather Orlando, Florida. It came in tops for gaming environment, second for gamer and development opportunities. however, for internet quality and coverage, it ranked 53rd.
Orlando is a great tourist town and scored high for number of arcades as well. Seattle ranked second while Austin, Texas, ranked third, New York fourth, and Atlanta fifth.
