The most disturbing thing in the phones nowadays is unnecessary notification popping up again and again on the screens; most of them are of no use. The Good news is that Samsung Galaxy S8 has come up with solution to this problem as you can customize the notification according to your needs. While one option is to permanently get rid of these pop ups by selecting the turn off notification option for each app, the more advanced option being offered by Samsung to its users is to select the apps which they would want to receive the notifications from.
You can easily explore the apps separately and modify the notification settings as per your requirements. Samsung allows you to adjust the notifications by allowing you to select lock screen behavior, sound level of the notifications, and setting various preferences at the users end is also possible.
This is how you can turn the notification on and off:
First of all go to Settings then select Notifications then clip All Apps on/off at the top, and you can also select that which apps notifications should be turned on or off.
For individual app notification behavior go to the Notification settings, select any app of your choice, Snap Allow notifications so that you can get notifications from the app. Snap Show Silently to block preview in pop ups, block vibrations and sounds. Select On lock screen to make decision whether you want hide the content or show it or to stop the notifications from popping up in the lock screen. Snap Set as Priority allow notifications to turn on the screen and sound, even if Do Not Disturb is on in your device.
By following these simple steps you can easily get rid of unnecessary notifications from the apps showing up on your phone.
