Iceland joins the Drone Sheep Herding race

Russia, Ireland, and New Zealand, Iceland has now joined the drone sheep herding race. Now the modern farmers are making use of the latest drones in order to monitor their sheep instead of using old-fashioned dogs.

A farmer named Ólafur Ólafsson in Iceland has been experimenting with the drones to herd his sheep and has been quite successful in his effort. He says that drone saves him much effort but he wishes that they could bark!

He makes use of the drone to drive the sheep from the fields back to the barn for the night. The only thing that he says should have been there is the sound of barking but in its place he speeds up the drone to make noise loud enough to get the sheep to move in the right direction. In case they wanders off, he makes use of the drone to steer it back.
