According to latest reports, Google Nexus and Pixel phones are getting the new Android security update. Besides, the distribution chart of Google Android has been updated as well. In terms of this, the chart has unveiled new updates about the market share by each version of Android OS.
While the latest version is growing the pace has been pretty slow, a month back Android Oreo had 0.5% of the market share that has not grown up to 0.7%. But this slow pace shows that it will take Android Oreo a long time to achieve the 10% level.
However, there is nothing to worry as this has always been the case in the world of Android. Marshmallow is still the most famous and widely used version that was released in 2015.
Android Nougat has 26.3% share. Lollipop, on the other hand, has 25.1% share. KitKat has 12.8% share while Jelly Bean just has 5.6% share. In addition, Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich have become about obsolete. Oreo is leading the race already.
